• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Manuals

Being a new Spyder owner and wanting to do my own servicing and upgrades, can anyone direct me to who has the best downloadable Maintenance Manuals for the newer Spyder RT's.
Thanks

Scroll down to the bottom of this page where you'll find the "master collection" for all things (Spyder of course) 2013. One thing I found interesting is "This is NOT a scan, this manual is from the original digital source." Quality should be as good as it gets!

Tech Spark

I purchased the Tech Spark manual and don't like it that much. It requires a download of a special program to open and use it, so it's not easy to drop onto a thumb drive and carry to wherever you may be working on your bike. In addition, the images aren't that clear on screen. They print OK, but screen resolution using their special program is mediocre.

I'm going to get me one and start doing most of my own maintenance. I know that there will be some stuff that I won't have the necessary equipment to do, but I paln on doing everything I can.

Wow.:yikes: I downloaded the RT manual and figured I would make a hard copy because Computers never work when you need them to. I always like to reference the manual if I'm working on a project. I have had 100's of manuals before but never one that looked like it belong to the Space Shuttle. Don't get me wrong it's a very detailed manual and they did a great job on it, but having looked at motorcycle/auto manuals before I can't believe added one more wheel to the bike ended up with 2200 pages. Now I know why they priced the Spyders as they do. It's for all those hidden parts and piece's they show in the manual. Spyder Manual.jpg
