• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maintenance Schedule

Hello,
I see a number of posts asking about when to do such and such. Attached is a .PDF maintenance schedule from my 2020 user manual. Reading through this in detail I understand some of the confusion, it's not written plainly in many aspects but here it is. If you see any issues don't hesitate to let me know.

I would view the maintenance schedule, which likely has a marketing influence, to be the minimum to (a) maintain factory warranty and (b) for the drivetrain to survive the warranty.

Suggest 5W40 in cool climates and 10W50 pure synthetic where ambient exceeds 104F (limit stated by XPS for their synthetic blend) .
Change engine, trans and final drive fluids at ~1,000 miles (see crud on magnetic drains in links below).
Change all thereafter in 5,000 mile intervals
Change trans air filter in 5,000 mile intervals
Engine air filter may go 10,000

The change to iridium plugs is suggested only for spark plug life, at the first spark plug change.
Performance differences negligible.
