Maggie Valley, June

After much hemming and hawing we are going to do it after all. Coming to Maggie Valley, but can't get there until the morning of the 18th. We are staying at the Microtel on Soco road, not far from the Festival Grounds.
Just wondering why most were staying in Cherokee. Access to BRP? Midway to the Dragon? Either way, see you all then, save a hotdog for us.

That's where we are staying! It's really close to the Festival Grounds & BRP activities. Figured that would be safer than staying next to the Casino where a string of bad luck would have the makings of a very short stay! LOL! Will see you there!

Thanks 'babe. I had seen that. I guess there's nothing more specific yet. We have some friends in the area that want to come see us while we're in the area and we're just trying to figure out when the best time is.

Many are staying in Cherokee because that is where BRP announce the host hotel as being. I am glad to hear that you will be able to make it for at least 1 day. I will be staying in the Ramada Limited, but should be out and about 90% of the time I am there. I hope to meet you soon. :thumbup:
