• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Madstad windshield for Ltd - close to perfect for me!

I just installed a 20" clear on my 2020 F3L and took it for a cruise. It is as close to perfect as I can expect (I'm 5'10") at the lowest and 'most vertical' position. If I were riding with my Airhawk, I might want to move it up a little but now I'm looking over the top just as I like. In TX heat I might tip it back for a little more air, but I don't expect to be riding in TX heat this year.

Famous last words......I find that I AM going to ride across TX in May this year! I hope it is not as hot as the last time I did!

Yeah, that manual adjustability is a huge selling point for the Madstad, McRuss :2thumbs:

My Spyder shield is suiting me fine, but on my Victory previously to my spyder, I went through three different windshields before hitting on the MadStad. Some people can't abide by the looks, but that never bothered me. It worked excellent. Glad you got it to work for you.

McRuss - I am 5'11" and have been riding with my 20" Madstad all the way up, and at a slight rear arc. With my visor of my Shuberth modular helmet up, I sense no wind noise up to about 45 mph. At 50 mph and great with visor down, I get wind noise. If I lean forward, less noise. I wonder if I should try dropping the windshield down?
