Luggage bag keys

Hi All,
I love my 2013 ST Limited. Got it used this spring and have put on over 10,000 mi. No troubles. Oil change, new Kumho tire.
When I bought it I tried to buy an extra set of keys for the bags. After much searching at key shops I returned to the dealer. He said Can Cam does not sell extra keys. If you loose one or both you have to buy a complete lock set and have it installed. Well today I lost one of my keys and was wondering if there is another source of blank keys for the bags.

If the luggage is made by GIVI, there is a number etched on all the keys. You can call them with the number and they will sell you replacement keys.
My 13 st limited has GIVI bags onboard.
Im sure other mfgs do the same.
Much easier than having to replace the locks.

By bags are original from Can Am. How do I tell if they are GIVI. I think thee is a number on the key.

:agree: You should have got 4 keys (2each bag) when you got the bike.
I am not sure as to replacement keys(per the number) but do know they would not match the keys I had to a top case if I was to order. :gaah: You may have more spares tucked away with the original sales paperwork:lecturef_smilie: I found a few things were all stashed in lil white box I got with bike. That I simply put away in secure location when I got home & went back out riding. Took about a week or so before I went thru it all nojoke

Umm how?:dontknow: They not near same size shape or anything other than they are both keys. I know the trailer lock on 622 can be done to ignition key , but not the saddlebags

Seriously??
what kind of crap is that? I always loved all things GIVI, not so much now. They make quality stuff, And was excited to see the bags on my ride were made by GIVI for can am.
So, they can't even do a key if you have a number?? That's not good service at all!
I wonder what happened between Can Am and GIVI?
Disappointed to say the least!
