• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lost cover

2010 RTS-SE, Orbital Blue
:helpsmilie:Has anyone lost their cover for the trailer hookup. Evidently it came off sometime between unhooking after the Cuba trip and hooking up for the Chicago trip. My dealer just informed me that the cover and gasket are serviced only with the harness.
I wondered if anyone had any ideas to keep dust and moiture out of the female fitting on the bottom of the saddlebag. I guess i could wrap it with duct tape, but I wanted it to look a little more professional.:D

The included zip-tie should secure the cap from loss, if it was installed. The O-ring is another matter. Remove it and put it in your glove compartment. I know the cap looks funky dangling from the zip-tie, and the zip-tie itself is an ugly distraction, but it works. If your dealer (or you) did not install it, add one now. The cap and connector are difficult to seat fully when twisted on, and can come off sometimes.

You should be able to get a Deutsch HD-16-9 protective receptacle cap separately, if you can find a Deutsch connector dealer.
