• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking at a Freedom motorcyle trailer

It looks a lot like the Aluma trailer (MCT/MCTXL). I picked up a used Aluma MCT about a month ago and think it's a pretty sweet little trailer. The Aluma doesn't come carpet lined like the Freedom, but they look almost identical with similar specs.

If you go with an aftermarket trailer, I would strongly suggest you test the leads coming off the Spyder. I have a 2011 RT-S and although the tongue harness is a 9 wire, only 4 of them are needed (ground, running, left brake and turn, right brake and turn). Yes, the brake and turn signals are ran out of the same lines - at least it is on my :spyder2:.

We have the Escape. Tracks well and hardly know its there. It has carpet in the main part of the trailer, not in the tool box.

On our road trip, the top lid of the trailer got chaffed from gas cans tied on top, also got some cracks by the hinges. Gave The Best Motorcycle Trailers a call and they are sending us a new lid at no cost to us. Now thats service!
