• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking at 2012 RT Limited

There are not a lot of pre-owned Spyders showing up around here. I have found a dealer, in Des Moines who has a 2012 RT limited, with 7100 miles, for under $12,000. Waiting to hear back from them on trading my 2009 RS. May have to make a run down there to take a test ride and see if we can make a deal. I know there are probably better prices out there, but from what few I have seen for sale lately, this seems to be rather fair for a dealer asking price.

Hope it has a few add on's, seems a little high for the year and miles! It's got the 996,not the 1330:dontknow: Where have you been looking?

Personally, I think that's too much for a 2012 RT. I'm not sure I'd give more than $10k, at the most. Heck, I'll sell you my 2018 RTL w/under 3k miles for $18.5k. I'd see what iMotorsports has before buying that.

I have been checking dealer pre-owned selection in NW Iowa and SW Minnesota, and there are not many available. Some dealers have no pre-owned units or very limited selection. A dealership I visited had only new units. Goes to say that if there are not many available that the asking price will be higher, until there is more inventory available. With what I paid for my 09 RS, I have some wiggle room.

There have been some sweet deals right here on this site! have you been on this imotorsports, a lot of the guys have got some good deals from that also, they will help ship to your door also I think! Good luck, keep your head up, one will pop into your life!!!

Current 2012 RTL se5 KBB trade in is $8,770 and typical dealer price In Good Condition with typical mileage is $12,190. The 2012 Spyder RTL is a good bike solid motor (998 twin). Many of them still around and will be for a long time to come. I for one like the high RPM of the 998 better than the 1330 but wish the mpg was as good as the 1330.
