Longer grips?

I have read here about Grip Puppies and ISO Grips, etc.. that change the diameter of the grip and comfort of it, etc... BUT what about grip mods or new grips that would make the grips longer?

I have large/wide hands and notice especially on left grip that I wish I had about another 1/2" to 1" in length to the grip because I find myself really keeping my index finger not relaxed because the Shift button is rubbing up against the side of my hand. (Not sure if my description really paints the picture well, sorry)

The raised end cap on the grips makes it hard to just let your pinkie kinda hang over the end, even if you wanted to do that.

I am going to order some Grip puppies for the needed extra comfort and diameter I need, and I guess that might help some in being able to overhang my pinkie, but was wondering if there are any other options out there to lengthen the grip on my RT SE5

Longer grips

On my RS changing grips was one of my first mods..
Replaced stock grips with a set of Gel Pro grips mainly to get rid of ridge,
Then put a set of Grip puppies over them to fatten them up...:2thumbs:...

Longer Grips

If you do the Kuryakn clam shell grip modification you will have both a larger diameter and longer grips as a result. The extra length of your grip will be approximately 2 inches per grip.

This mod has been performed by a number of forum members, including myself. It requires a bit of cutting and grinding to make the GL1800 clam shell grips fit your stock RT heated grips.
