"Long Island NY" Spyder Ryder of America

:riding: Would anyone here be interested in starting a "Long Island NY" chapter of Spyder Ryder of America? You need a minimum of 5 people in the group and 4 to serve as the board of the chapter as a President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer to do it. I started to look into it and will go further if enough ryders are interested. Let me know if you are interested.

Well

As a member of one of the largest chapters in the country we:

1 Meet for a dinner meeting once a month
2 Our Road Captains plan and lead club rydes every weekend of the year some weekends we have multiple rydes
3. We support local and national charities.
4. This year we planned the best "First Year Spyder Rally" ever (according to Fred Rau)
5. And anything else we want to do!

Long Isl. and Spyder Ryder chapter

To bad I don't live on Long Island anymore. I was looking for like minded riders when I lived there but found none. I would have helped start a chapter. But I would not be affiliated with any of the US Spyder Ryder chapters. I have had a bad experience with the people running the Greenville SC chapter. The by laws are not legal and there can be a lot of hanky pinky going on. So I would look to another national organization before becoming affiliated with someone.
