• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Little light in left headlight housing is out.

There is a small light to the outer most portion of the headlight assembly in either headlight. Mine is out on the left side. Is that a bulb and if so what number bulb? Could it be just a connector that came loose for that light? I guess I'll have to remove some panels to find what the problem is. Just wanted to see if others have changed this bulb and how difficult it was to change.

It's the same process as changing a headlight bulb... Which is either good, or bad: depending on your view of the process.
Last week, I pulled the mirrors off of my RT, and I noticed that one of the screws that hold the headlight body panel in place, is underneath them! :gaah:

They are LEDs

Small light is a round LED cluster molded into a plastic housing. Three screws and you can lift out the housing. I would do electrical checks on it because they are LEDs. Maybe the 2 pin connector came loose.

That's why it is said every job on the RT starts with removing the mirrors! :gaah:

I thought every job began with a broken toe from kicking the wall because of having to remove the mirrors, or is that just me? :D

Can't wait for my magnets to arrive.

But yea, it's a bit of a PITA to get the headlights out, I don't remember if that cluster had a separate connector or where it gets its power from, will see if I can find a pic from my headlight replacement.

You'll be able to pay for the Magic Mounts by NOT having to go to the emergency room for another episode of busted toes! :D
