• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

List of recalls for 2012

I just bought my second spider. I had a 2010 and sold it a year ago. I just purchased a new 2012, and before I pick it up, it would help to have a list of any recalls. I had an issue with a different dealer on my 2010, and found I usually had to tell them when there was a new recall. It was ridiculous.

I hope this dealer is better, but just to be safe a list of recalls on the current model year might be good.

I look forward to many friendly, and informational discussions on my favorite board. It looks like it is goodbye burgmanusa (I am trading in my 2011 Suzuki Burgman 400), and hello Spyderlovers.

.

So far the only recall on our 2012's has been for the firmware upgrade on the Throttle Body control. BUT, we discovered that one of friends 2012 RT was not on the recall list. Apparently her machine was manufactured later than our Spyders and didn't require the upgrade.

So a list of recalls may not be useful. A better list would include the VIN's for the Spyders and your dealer should be able to access that from BRP at anytime.
