• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

we are our first trip and just had our VSS lights come on and the trike went into limp mode. We were traveling at 65 MPH going down hill on a curve and the lights went on. We have 1200 total miles, service att 500 miles, no problems. After it went in limp mode I pull over shut the bike off and then restarted the bike and no codes remain and was out of limp mode. We are in Whistler BC and not going home until Tuesday, since it ran find and no a code are on is the any problem continuing the trip. It is 92 out and the we were in curves for two hours.

Any suggestion? Everthing else is going good.

Sounds like a similar situation to when my 2012 RT went into Limp Mode. Happened at 2000 miles. I now have over 17,000 miles, and it hasn't come on again.

Just the Nanny telling you hello. Shouldn't have any additional problems. Just make sure to tell your dealer when you take it in for service.

Happy ryding!

Key walk..!!

some long sweeping curves combined with speed can cause the vss to kick in. If you stop walk away with the key in hand the computer will reset and you are good to go. I like to alter angles and speeds on such roads so the nanny doesn't think I am going over...:roflblack:

You should be fine but if it happens again be sure to check for fault codes before you turn it off. Push the mode, set and turn signal cancel buttons at the same time. Make a note of the code then shut it off and back on. You can also reset Limp Mode while you are riding by turning the key off and back on. That comes in handy if you aren't able to safely pull off the road.

Thank you for the help! We are enjoying our first long ride and the Can Am is doing great. I wish the gas milage was better or a larger tank as we are riding with a three other motorcycles that have more range.
