• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Liability wavers must be a bitch

Once a year, amateurs can drive their personal road cars on the Nürburgring race track in Germany.

Yikes...!!!

That is just crazy....:yikes::yikes: and they let anyone in....:yikes: there is a lot of claiming and retaining wall repairs to be done after that scenario....:roflblack:

I believe that on those days, the 'if you break it, you bought it' rule applies, and yes, that DOES include the armco & safety fencing! And the Emergency Services helicopter evac & any on-site medical treatment doesn't come cheap either!!

:D I'll bet that this mess is sponsored by all of the local:
Hospitals
Car rental agencies
New car dealerships
and..
Repair Shops

Ah Memories, I was stationed near there in the 80's, tiny little air base called Sembach, went up to the "Ring" a couple few times and over to Hockenheimring, once to see this kinda madness, then lines to get in were long.... And all of this was AFTER a pre race "Safety" lap:gaah:

If you got the balls....
We got the walls!

My natural instinct would tell me to stay away from such events. I am pretty sure about "me," but cannot trust the "others." That's enough to keep me as a watcher.

No racing at Daytona, Indy, or Spyderfest either.
