• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LED's installed on sides

Terrible pictures Dan.

Yeh I know I will have to do better, But they look great in person.

I bet they do.

Can't tell..!!

Must look great but the photos don't do the lights justice..maybe more distance.. Congrats..!!

Wish I could do Red an Blue but the state law says NO Blue or Red if it is moving could turn them on if its sitting still only:mad: They look great !!

I used those same lights on mine as brake light strips. Very cheap, and easy to wire up. Also used some of the white in the front.

Great job and your photos are good. I was thinking of the white in front. Did you use cool or warm.

I used cool, because I like the slightly blue tint. BUT, the warm glow of the fender lights really clashes with it. May replace those bulbs with LEDs so it matches better.

Any issues with water?

I found the company that makes the LEDs......funny the company is only 50 miles away in Baton Rouge! I noticed that the manufacture stated indoor use only. Any issues with water or getting them wet?

They make two different types, one for indoor, and another for outdoor. The outdoor ones are covered in an epoxy rubber layer. One thing you have to do is scrape/remove this rubber from where ever you are going to solder. After soldering, I usually cover the soldered area with hot glue or silicone, and then heat shrink it. Here is a pic of the waterproof strip:

I only see the indoor version on Amazon.....do you still have a source where you purchased yours?

How about you post how you wired the fenders so all of use can benefit from your experience.

I'll be glad to help you in any way. Where are you wanting them?
