I have a 2015 Can Am Spyder Roadster with the semi automatic. When I purchased it had 10,200 miles on it. I have had it just about 5 months and it now has 17,450 miles on it so I have put 7,200 miles on it. I am finely learning how to ride it and really enjoy it. Where I live we have a lot of two lane secondary roads. It is rolling country not steep hills. I fine running in 5[SUP]th[/SUP] gear around 3500 to 4000 rpm which is 60 to 65 mile an hour it runs the best. Going down grade I will go into 6[SUP]th[/SUP] gear put any grade or if I drop below 3500 rpm I drop to 5[SUP]th[/SUP] gear. Of course on any interstate I run 6[SUP]th[/SUP] gear about 4000 to 4500 rpm which is up around 70 to 75 mile an hour. I am curious if this is way other people run their Spyder’s or do they use 6[SUP]th[/SUP] gear more? I thought I was going to really miss my two wheels but do not want to go back now.
