Leaky valve stem on air bag?

After buying our 2017 f3t, i questioned if it was that much better than our two up riding on our 2015 f3s! The wife and i were still bottoming out on select NJ roads. I decided to go to the nearest air pump and check out what our air bag had in it for air. Guess what, no air. Filled it to 55# and put some soapy water on the valve stem to see if i had a faulty core. No leak from the stem, but where the stem is screwed in was bowing bubbles all over the place. BRP puts locktite on the valve stem, but it wasn't tightened all the way. Had a "bitch" of a time breaking the locktite seal, but was finally able to break if free and get a good seal. Have contacted my dealer to order ndw parts and replace. What a difference the ride is, "with air in the bag!!!!!!!":roflblack:

I have installed a FOBO TPMS sensor on my rear air shock on the F3T. As you can see, the two fronts and the rear are reading pretty close to the baseline setting. The rear air shock baseline is 42 and has been sitting for a couple of days and is down below the 8% set point and the alarm is showing. I have found that riding a short distance will bring that lower pressure back up due to the shock working up and down thus the air gets hot in there and the pressure rises a few points. Interesting.....

Whenever I have anything that's not holding air as well as I think it should: I always suspect that the valve can be tightened up a bit...

What brand did you go with, I was thinking of the same thing, but not sure witch one to get.CORRECTION - SORRY did not realize FOBO was the Brand name.

FOBO is a great TPMS for the Spyder. Lamont has them. Many here on the board have them on their bikes. Tire pressure is important on the Spyder. You only have 20 psi in the front and a loss of 2-3 psi is a big deal as far as handling and tire longevity.
