• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Launch Stats/Trip page on 2020 RTL

I noticed on my launch stats/trip page that the max mph reached was showing 120. I took delivery of my RT with only 1.9 miles on the odometer. There’s no suitable road within that distance of the dealership for someone to have gone that fast. My question is, do they come from the factory showing that speed by default? I’ve read that the speed limiter is set at 120 so maybe it showed up on the stat page when they set it?

When Spyders roll of the assembly line, a BRP associate then takes it to the company drag strip alongside the factory. Yours is one of the better ones - hitting 120 in the quarter is rare.:yikes::clap::firstplace:

Mine says 99 mph. I did that when pulling my trailer with big 145 tires on it. I've yet to try it without pulling my trailer. Ha! I've also removed my 145 tires and replaced them with the standard 4.80 X 12 tires. My RTL ran like a dog pulling my trailer with the bigger tires on it.

I think what you'll find is that when it comes off the line it go's to a dyno, before it gets broke down and crated! They run it, give it a good burp and there you go!! And some people don't believe in the run it like you stole it break ins periods!!:2thumbs:

Mine said 120 also.
My wife looked at it and said "I thought you had to take it easy on break in".

Not with engines that are designed, machined and measured for close tolerances by computers. Much better made then before, so no need for break in. It is a good idea to take it easy for the first 500-1000 miles. First service is 3000k.
