• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Last day for us in SD

Last night we decided we were going to head home in the morning. It looks like we may hit some bad weather again so if we leave early it will give of some extra time if we need it and we pretty much seen everything we wanted to see.

So today we got a late start. I woke up with a killer headache and I still have it now, Len needed a new phone seeing his other phone wouldn't hold a charge and Harvey was just as happy hanging out here at the hotel till Len got back. We didn't go anywhere till 11:30 and we didn't go too far then. We decided to ride Nemo road into Deadwood and Sturgis but it started to rain so we pulled into a cool little place in Nemo to get a bite and wait out the rain.

They had some great burgers

This made me think about sharing a room with Harvey :roflblack:

After lunch I walked around and took these pics

I wasn't feeling too good so I headed back to the hotel and Harvey and Len took off for Deadwood. There was rain on both sides of us so we were going to get wet no matter what. Turns out that there was a pretty big storm headed my way and I just made it under cover when it started to rain. I checked the weather on my iphone and it was calling for 3" hail and tornado warning.

I honestly thought I was going to get some video that would make it on the weather channel but I'm happy to say that it went from 3" to ping pong ball size hail to nothing. I've never seen a storm fizzle out like that before. I did talk to some folks that got hit by one storm that blew 15 rigs over that they saw and it blew their Harley's over on the kickstand side. That must have been some strong wind.

I had a great time but I'm ready to sleep in my own bed again. I hope to be home Sunday if all goes as planned. :doorag:
