It may not be the last one for the year but it looks like summer is over out here in Oregon, the much needed rain chased us home Sunday afternoon. I bet the firefighters that have been battling the forest fires were happy as we have had an unusually long dry summer . We met up with some friends for a spur of the moment campout and had a great weekend . We have a 42' Fifth wheel but when we show up with our little tent trailer in tow with the Spyders it blows everyone away. I rather camp this way then with the big rig unless we are staying for an extended time. We still showed them how to cook great simple camp-food , one breakfast I made a giant Tortilla Espanola and one night we had a shrimp boil.
