Quick question, if I had done a laser alignment on my F3L and now that I have to take my bike for maintenance, if the technician has to adjust the belt, those that means that I will have to do another laser alignment? Thank you

No belt adjustment should not affect your laser alignment.

Rear Tire

My understanding is that if proper caution is not used when removing the rear tire, that could cause a problem. Spyder Ann or Joe could certainly provide yiu with some advice!

I disagree with the previous poster; if you have to change the position of the rear axle to change how your belt tracks then yes you will disturb your alignment.

Now, will it mess it up a lot would likely depend on how much adjustment was done.

Once your belt is adjusted properly then the tracking shouldn't change unless you loosen or disturb your axle.

You should be able to change tires by releasing the swing arm from the rear shock remove the axle and reinstall with the adjusters tensioned as before without messing with belt tracking. If you're not changing the tracking then technically your alignment should be pretty close to spot on.

More likely a good practice to realign after each rear tire change.

Depends....

If the alignment was done properly you should not need any belt adjustments....If your dealer does make any changes it will depend how much those changes are. If you have a good laser person they can re-check the alignment and if it is within spec's should not charge you....

As others have mentioned. Doing anything to the rear axle definitely has the potential to alter your alignment since the entire alignment is calculated off the position of the rear axle/wheel. The only way to know is to have your alignment checked when the service is done.

I checked mine after having work done three times that entailed the axle moving from the spot where I had the alignment done. In every instance there was a change, albeit a small one. Although the toe is generally set at 1" that is measured over 150" so a very small change at the axle makes a difference.
