• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seems this is something a lot of folks have been looking for and it's fairly cheap and easy to do. I'll give you a parts list and you can do this mod too. :doorag:

First off you need to order some parts. This is where I got mine, the price was right and I received them in a timely manner.

I used this ball mount to mount to the air wing.

I tapped the ball with a M6 tap so I could use the stock torx bolt but the ball has a hole through the center so you could just run a 1/4" bolt through it. You will need to line up the flange of the ball mount to the top of the air wing. Then you want to make your hole so you can drill your hole. You can do this without taking anything off, just make sure you hold the wing when you're drilling it so it won't bend too much.

When you put the arm on it will rest on the dash and that takes any weight off of the air wing. So far it's working out great for me and if you do the other side with the ball mount it makes a great camera mount. :doorag:

cup holder

For what it is worth, I also ordered one from GPS. Ordered one with suction mount. Placed it on left side panel, have put at least a thousand miles with no problem, I did put a laniard on it just in case. No drilling of such, and if I don't like placement, can move it around untill get it just right.

Thank you Lamont

Thank you Lamont. Your ideas are just what we are wondering if we could do, and then you do it and we say WOW that was just what
I was thinking.

RAM Mounts

Lamonster, Thanks for the tips. I installed my RAM Mounts today and thanks to your tips it was a breeze. The tip of bending a 10mm wrench was helpful. I did have to drill out the center of the mount, but with a drill press it was no problem. I have watched most of your videos and they gave me the confidence to attack some of the mods I had been wanting. I also installed some Seal FloorBoards and they were a piece of cake also. Now just waiting for my Corbin Seat and I should be set.

Thanks again, you ROCK!
