Lamonster RGB engine led lights will not turn off?

I installed the RGB led engine lights a couple of months ago. I came out of work today and found them on. However, they will not turn off with the remote. So I disconnected them from the battery waited a few minutes and reconnected them the leds turn on the second I touch the battery terminal. Has anyone had this problem before? I pulled the fuse on them that is the only way to get them to turn off.

Call Lamonster. Did you try replacing the battery in the remote?

Thank you, I sent them an email last night waiting to hear back. I was thinking about trying a new battery. I am going to pick one today for the remote.
