• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster Garage License Plate Collection

When I went up to Springfield this last weekend, I gave Lamont a few "Garage-warming" gifts, and in it I decided to part with a few of the license plates I have collected over the years.
Before I left, he told me he wants to start a nice collection of plates where he can hang them in the walls of the loft and garage.
He made the request on Facebook, but here it is for you non-Facebookers:roflblack:

If you have any old license plates you want to part with, Lamonster Garage will have a home for them. He is got plenty of walls to hang all of them. You can bring them to Spyderfest or any other time you are in the area, or even mail it to him. He wants the person that has donated to him a license plate(s), to sign and date each one.

If you can't make it to Spyderfest or to the Springfield area, he will also will take them via mail. You can ship the plates to the care of Pit Bull/Lamonster Garage 1332 N. Glenstone Ave. Springfield MO 65802. Again, remember to sign and date them so that your name can go into the walls of plates.

I'd like to see how far this can go!

Bummer..!!

all the tags through they years have gone with the bikes as they were sold. In some places you had to return them so I have none. Car tags a few. Nice project should turn out to be quite unique with all the signatures...:2thumbs:

That will be a fun thing for Lamont to do.....here is a collection of plates I have received from Spyder owners, mine are outside and I have to replace the names now and then....anybody who wants to send me a plate...pm me...people coming to Gatherin' of the Spyders Memorial weekend...bring a plate.....oh Lamont was the first to give me a plate

Are these just car plates or is he looking to motorcycle plates also? I have several that I could send. Where do you sign the plates, on rear or front?

Not available, but thought it would be nice to ask people to share any SPECIAL license plates they thought would be interesting to others. This is a motorcycle plate.
