• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lamonster & Fred Rau's RT Trip across America-Day 5

I can't believe it's day 5 already. Not much to report today. I did get to visit with a lot of old friends and made some new friends today. That's always a good thing.

I got a chance to walk around Rossmyers and talk to a lot of the vendors before the folks started showing up. Most of them said they had a good day Sat. and today was looking good weather wise.

I took this pic at the Rats Hole. Got to love the twin blowers.

This will give you an idea how busy it was when I got to the BRP tent

The tall guy in the back with the hat is one of the RT5 guys, Bruce Jarvis. I got to visit with him a bit and he seems like a nice guy. You can tell he loves talking with folks about the Spyder RT.

This was SpyderLovers member "Mouthpiece" by my RT. Really nice guy and I enjoyed meeting him.

Here he is on his RT-S #0004. He seems to be having a great time on it.

Here's a pic of "LittleJohn". Another really nice guy.

This couple is from Canada but I can't remember their names, sorry. They have a really nice Spyder all decked out. I think they would have bought the RT if it was out when they got their GS. Now they are going to wait a year and see how they do and then upgrade. They ride two-up all the time so it would be a nice fit for them.

The rest of the day was uneventful. The crowd was up and that was a good thing. Today it looks like rain on and off but the rest of the week looks great. Hope to see you there.

Another good write up Lamont. Cold and rainy today here as well, but it is supposed to clear up by Thursday when we head your way.

Just a note to say that Lamonte was as gracious and friendly as he seems to be online. Hope to be over that way on Thursday.

On a side note, Lamonte I hope that fella has left town. It certainly would behoove him to. <snicker> Chris Ray

Hey Lamonte, it was good to meet and talk with you. I hope you had a great time in Daytona. I enjoyed our chat in person.

ISCI

Another great write up. I understand that ISCI is there with their RT additions. I am looking forward to seeing their handbrake on the RT. Do they have one there? Thanks....and please keep this terrific reporting going. My wife and I are planning a trip to Seattle and turning left...then who knows where, so it will be great to hear how it all goes for you!:2thumbs:

Time flies when you are having fun :2thumbs:
