• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kuryakyn grips on F3?

The new u-fit system has one-inch bars. The Kury ISO groups are good for 1-inch bars. Anybody try fitting the Kury grips to the F3? I took my new F3T for a 200 mile ride yesterday and, among other issues, it's clear the grip diameter is too small and I miss my throttle boss lever.

The left side is a no-brainer, I suspect. The right side is going to be all about the throttle tube, if there is one.

Check with Value Accessories for the exact part numbers but the Kuryakyn grips for the early Honda Gold Wings fit OVER the BRP grip and keep the heat grip function intact. Same grip as for the RT. My wife loves them on her bike. I did not and went with the foam grip puppies.

I saw those GL1800 clamshell grips last night while looking on internet. I thought it was a cool idea but had no idea they'd fit the Spyder. No sanding or modifications or anything?

Oh - and I don't have the heated grips for the Sypder - does that change the diameter?

Diameter is same heated or not. You will have to trim the rubber flange on the end of the stock grips with a razor blade or box cutter. Otherwise they fit.
