• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kimber getting into the revolver game..

KIMBER

...Kimber is not a new player in the firearms arena, if that was your concern ..........Mike

I'm sure the prices will be out soon, as I'm sure they are releasing this during this weeks SHOT show.

They actually started out building high-quality .22 rifles back over 30 years ago...
Then came the centerfire caliber rifles
Next; their .45s hit the market.
I'll be interested to see what these wheelguns turn out to be! :2thumbs:

(I had two of their .22s: AWESOME shooters!!)

I have an Ultra Kimber Crimson Carry II which I use for CCW... beautiful, quality made pistol.. has a hefty recoil .. but is expected for a 45ACP caliber.. its loaded with 185gr XTP Hornaday Critical Defense ammo..

Nice choice in ammo!
I've always felt that a 185 gr pill, was the best choice in the .45 for use around the home!

I'd heard about it. Two inch barrel, similar to S&W J-frame. Does anyone know what the price point is?
After watching the video; I'd say that it's probably as large as a "Snubby K-Frame"...
I'm not so wild about the hidden hammer; I've always preferred the option of reverting to single-action mode, when given the time for an accurate shot...

That's why I got the Kimber Carry II in a 40 caliber. My favorite handgun of all time.
