• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kanine pressure

Tire pressure is a subjective decision, so with that caveat, I run 18lbs in front and 28lbs in the rear. It is my opinion that the front K20's are sensitive to pressure and anything over 18 to 20 makes the bike seem twitchy but at 18 it is rock solid. Just my opinion so take it for what ever it's worth.

So for the kanines, what is the general tire pressure for the fronts and rear?

With the Kendas sized for our Spyders, ANY Kenda, including the Kanine's, which are effectively the same carcass as the OE spec Kendas only with a harder tread compound in order to increase tire life et al, their lightweight carcass construction means that you really need to run pressures that are pretty close to the pressures recommended on your tire placard! :lecturef_smilie:

It's only when you run heavier/stronger car tires that you need to run lower pressures (especially in the rear tire ;) ) in order to optimise those tire's traction, puncture resistance, tread wear, ride etc.

OEM Tires

:agree:..... What Peter said.
Fronts: 20 - 22 psi
Rear: 27 - 28 psi

This is Only for Spyder OEM TIRES.
