• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Mike is the inventor of the True Laser Track system for SPYDERS and now SLINGSHOTS....JUST SAW THIS ON FB

The stroke happened when I (Kristal)was still in Florida…Mike was in SC
After 3 days of testing,,,Mikes heart is as strong as a ox….the blood clot was plaque that broke off in the artery leading to the brain stem and blocked blood flow in the PONS area…the neurosurgeon explained that as the arteries go further into your brain they get smaller….the small stroke at noon on Monday July25[SUP]th[/SUP] at the sawmill lasted 15 minutes and the clot moved and bloodkept flowing slightly and he was normal…during the night in the trauma center at 4:30 am July 26[SUP]th[/SUP] the clot moved further into the artery and got lodged in the pons area,,,,once it stuck and would not move it blocked all blood flow and damage occurred. He is now paralyzed on his LS.
It is too dangerous to go into that stem area and remove clot so …believe it or NOT…ASPIRIN will dissolve it
CAN YOU believeit is that SIMPLE… start taking ONE low dose aspirin a day….it will not hurt you but it will keep your blood thin and moving.
What probably started everything was the extreme heat…Mike and his brother Ed where working in Eds sawmill…the temperature that day was near 100 degrees…when you get overheated the blood thickens which when the plaque broke off it just made a bad situation worse. And knowing Mike he was also dehydrated…making it even worse.
Lesson #1: DO NOT get overheated ..why in god’s name where 2 men near their 70’s working like they were 25 years old. I know they both love wood BUT HIRE SOMEONE AND JUST SUPERVISE. These guys are both wealthy enough,,,but oh no both control freaks
Lesson #2: one low dose aspirin a day
Lesson # 3: NO more working like a dog…when he gets better he will work but not like he has been,,,time to slow down
Why does it take so long for us to realize the simple things in life
Next is rehab….the case worker has already been in to get the ball rolling we have to hit it HARD for at least a month then out patient for a year.

come on Spyder Lovers Mike needs prayers

Prayers - I've been talking a daily aspirin for many years - ever since a smart old family doctor told my dad to start doing so, in the early 70's.

Glad that has been good for you but many others have developed ulcers from it fyi. My dad was also given same recommendation & found out he could only follow if was baby aspirin. If not accustom to daily pills /vitamin regiment it can be challenging. Do wonder how much is just bs pushed by pharmaceuticals?!

I wasn't there but I still care! POW /MIA VETS

My doctor also recommended that i NOT take a daily dose of aspirin unless there was a specific need for it.
