Just ordered my hindle

I recieved a gift certificate for Christmas to my local aftermarket snowmobile/ATV/Motorcycle parts and accessory dealer, so I went in to shop. Got to talking with the kid behind the counter and it seems that they can get anything that BRP offers. I asked for his price on the Hindle. It retails for $649.00 on BRP website, his price $562.00. I asked about the rims and they were $519.00 at BRP, his price $450.00. Now I'm getting curious so I asked if they delt with Corbin, as I've been looking at the saddlebags. $1699 at Corbin.com, his price $1525.

I've been coming to this site for the better part of a year and had no idea that these alteratives existed. I just figured I had to go to the dealer and spend top dollar. Just buying these 3 items, I would save $330.00. That's enough for another mod! Just wanted to let everyone know there are alternatives. By the way, I got the Hindle and the other two will soon follow.

Congrats on the money saving find. There are (or were) a few members here who worked for dealers or aftermarket parts suppliers who could get some or all BRP Spyder stuff at a discount. I can't remember the names offhand but a search of the older threads may lead you to a couple of other possibilities for discounted parts. :thumbup:

hindles are a must i think and ebay is good place to find bargain on spyder accessaries. they are not as plentiful as other motorcycles stuff but with patience you find stuff.

i paid $440 for hindle and $270 for fog lights, 9 bucks for fog light replacement bulbs. i swapped them out for 5800k whiter ones.
