• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just never fails...

You get all excited about something coming up. No, not that :opps:. Then you get the big let down. This has happened to me on several occasions. Today was no different. Got word last week that A friend of a friend etc., had me set up to fire one of my most favorite weapons. The M60.

Well, phone rings this morning. Called off. Range closed for unspecified reason. The only other range that can handle the M60 is on base and that's not an option. Oh well. Guess I'll find something else to do.

 That looks like a fun one!
Sorry to hear that the day's plans got monkeyed-up... :gaah:

Cheer up! The offer will present itself again...:yes::yes:

My contact called back a little while ago and apologized for the canceled range time. He said some VIPs had the range on short notice. So he says "Friday 5 December, I reserved the range". CRAP, CRAP, CRAP. I'm scheduled to be at Camp Lejeune MCB for a luncheon with about 400 Marines and some members of the NYFD that day. Our veterans group is cooking and serving. Well, that's more important than throwing some lead down range.

That is more important:thumbup:. The range time will happen. When it does, let us know how it went....
