• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I thought I would post some pics of the trailer re-spray I had done, the pictures don't do it justice, it shines and a PERFECT match to the spyder

This is the original thread I had for those that wonder why I did this.

But basically after the trade of my Goldwing I was left with a titanium colored trailer.

I had the trailer and helmet sprayed locally in Rhode Island they did a really fantastic job.

Looks great and a lot cheaper in the end then the BRP Trailer I bet!

When you look at the cost of a good quality trailer the BRP one is at a fair price compared with a Bustec and others of the same caliber.

I like the looks of the BRP one, more aerodynamic than this one and the suspension is better.

This one starts off reasonable, base is just $2 shy of $2k.

Then when you add larger chrome wheels, plus spare, plus chrome bumper, led light upgrades, carpeted interior and color match gel coat, etc... its ends up around $3k.

The paint job cost me $450 including the helmet and to be honest its done so well you can not tell the difference between Spyder and trailer.

I will still keep my eyes and hears open towards the end of the year for any left over Lava Bronze BRP trailers, if I can get one at a good price I would sell this one.

But this has serve me very well, it's 22 cubic feet (623 Liters) of extra storage, handy when out with the wife or you want to pick some thing up while touring.

Haven't pulled it with the Spyder yet as I'm still waiting on the hitch, but would forget you had it in tow with the Goldwing, I assume this will be the same.

Overall I'm very pleased with the paint job.

Sweet look.
Makes me thing maybe I should have repainted the Bushtec, instead of buying the BRP.
