• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just checking

Just cos you can't see them posting a heap doesn't necessarily mean they aren't around; many people 'lurk' rather than post a lot for a whole range of reasons, but they generally still keep an eye on what's going on around the place, & you might even get a response from your post above. But even if you don't, they could still be around. You may possibly hafta do some searching thru the member list to find those who are in Oregon, then check their profiles to see if they've logged on recently, even if they haven't posted, and maybe you could send a Private Message or two, or maybe even an email. ;)

But the real answer is NO, it's not correct to assume that just cos there's not a heap of regular rides or other activity scheduled in the Oregon section here really has little bearing on how active the Spyder Ryders in your State may be; they might just be too busy ryding to do much posting!

Good Luck, & keep an eye out for the others!

Little checking

There are 171 listed SL members in Oregon and probably many more non members. There must be something going on...:roflblack: also check the home page upper left for groups and clubs listings and see what is there. Check local dealers to see when there are rydes open to all bikes you may find ryders there...

There is a large club in the Portland area, it's the Columbia River Spyder Riders. I believe we have close to 100 members and make many rides a year.

Clubs are a hit/miss thing. These days, it is difficult to get a large group of people together ride the same time/place/eat at restaurant X, etc.

It does happen, but usually not on a regular basis.

:bowdown: for those that do it regularly.
