• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Juicebox and Warranty

Just Doo Me

Has anyone taken their Spyder to the dealer and had anything said about the Juicebox installed voiding warranty?I'm about to take it in for the 10000km service and was wondering if i'll get a hassle about it.I tucked it up out of sight but when they pull the panels to check valve clearance they will probably see it.

I don't think they'll care much...they can't blame anything wrong with the bike due to the JB...you can turn the settings off before you bring it in (look at the directions) for service, if you want...I might do this before the software update...there is also a 'performance' upgrade with the DPS, so the JB settings will have to be tweaked anyway....

Have mine in the shop now with the steering recall and service. Have the JB and GF and asked them to adjust same if needed. I even made a copy of Lamont's settings with the new setting on Mode 2 and gave to them. Didn't say anything about warrenty, but never know about any problems that might occur in the future.

They can't just automatically 'not cover your warranty'. They have to show that your aftermarket part is causing the problem. This is US law pertaining to aftermarket parts.
