• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Juice box HELP

BLACK WIDOW

New member
I am in the process of installing the Juice Box from NMN and have ran into a big problem, or at this point it seems to be. The rear injector is almost impossible to get to with the air box on, but that is not my biggest concern. The front injector (access from left side) does not have connectors that match anything in the kit, or a least if they are there they must be extremely well hidden. The instructions aren't real clear (picture) but they get you in the general area of the plugs and there is nothing there that is compatible with the kit plugs. I need some good advice. :helpsmilie:

Good luck...I might be in your spot soon if/when I order one. When you get yours up and running, please tell us how the performance/mileage changes...

Thanks,

BC

Its well hidden, thers a black module that has a bolt through it, I think it says bosch on it and it has a hose frm it, you need to remove it and the injectors behind it hidden. Its on the front part of the cylinder, take a close look at the instructions picture and hopefully you'll see.

I tookj air box off, made it very easy only 6 screws hold it on around throttle valve :chat:

The front injector isnt the one in the picture from 2bros. It is actually located behind the one they have circled. If you can lift the spyder and get under it, or easier yet get a mirror, you will see the front one. I had to call them and complain about thier instructions and picture. It is there, just real hard to see. I removed the connectors in front of the correct one and then with a mirror ( small one) , I could see it.

Yes-I just completed the install and just got back from a test drive.I finally found the injectors by moving some wiring, hoses etc. also I brought in a much better floor light so I could see. I am over my frustration.:gaah: I agree that the picture in misleading since the one circuled did not fit the kit. BTW I set the juice box like LaMonster sets his (from NMN) and I can tell you that there is a substantial performance gain. I am running the Hindle with high flow air filter and juice box, seems to be good combination. and thanks for your responses and help. Greatly appreciated.:f_spider:

Glad you got it. I just installed Rons with the air box off and the whole install and programing took les than 10 min. Those plugs are hard to get to with the box on. They are the only plug with a wire clip on them.

If I do another I will also take off the air box. I don't know how big a job that would be but it would have to be easier than getting to those injector plugs with it on. Based on my test drive ( late last night) the performance is going to be much improved and the few hours of hassel will be well worth it:thumbup: BTW your settings seem to be dead on.:f_spider:

Glad my settings are working well for you too! :2thumbs:

I spent many hours trying many different combos and feel these settings seem to really wake up the Spyder quite a bit.
