today that I really didn't want to be a member of. Rode a little over 100 miles today with some members of the Brotherhood. Was a good day weather wise to ride. Cruising down NC 55 in the tailgunner slot. Felt something hit my neck, thought it was a piece of gravel off the road. Then WHAM! Hot stinging feeling in the right side of my chest, just above the man boob. Felt like a hot needle. So here we are running about 50 mph, I'm pulling my shirt open to see what is going on. I see a bumble bee fall down toward my belly. Oh crap, don't sting me again! Trying to keep one eye on the road and one on that bee. Thankfully it climbs up my shirt and flies out at the collar. Damn, my chest is on fire. I had a pull over shirt on with a short zipper at the neck. Had the zipper down for cooling. Figured it bounced off my neck and went down the open zipper. Thankfully the pain doesn't last too long. Bumble bee stings aren't as painful as a wasp or yellow jacket. Note to self- Don't wear open neck shirts when riding. It's 11:15 pm, there's still a tender area where that bee nailed me. I have handled bumble bees for as long as I can remember and never been stung. They're fairly docile, guess this one just wanted to let me know it wanted out
