• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

JMCB2003 SPY

I have just purchased a 2009 SE5 model for my bride of 32 years. Has anyone tried to install the NEW JMCB 2003 radio on this model. J & M says this is for the MANUAL SHIFT model only. After looking at all the parts and reading the INSTALL manual, seems the only problem area would be where the PTT button is mounted. I've thought of taking a PTT button from the passenger of a GL1800 (the one that velcros around the passenger grab bar) and attach it to the left hand grib of the Spyder. Any ideas or comment will be welcomed.:helpsmilie:

I have been very disappointed with this for the price. The range is very limited.

I have the JM2003 CB on my motorcycle and my wife's Spyder.

I have tried different antennas as well. Not much help from the JM people either. They will talk to you about your problems but you will get a lot of head scratching and how they just don't understand what the problem can be.

Again nice folks but not much help except send it back so they can test it, not return for a refund.

I hope this helps.
