• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a two-wheeler friend that has one of these and I need to replace the plugs, wires, and exhaust o-rings on my bike. Where, underneath the Spyder RS, is the best place to lift the front end?
 
I use it!

I use this jack...works great. Good value for the $'s. Inpsect the contents. I was lucky, had all the parts to assemble it. However, they were loose in the box and could have easily got lost....check your box to make sure it doesn't have holes or other ways for the parts to fall out....

i go straight in at the front or side-ways at mid-ship... depending on what your needs are... at mid-ship, i can get all 3 wheels off the floor, but understand that when lifting like this, it is best not to get too comfortable under your SPYD3R, because it isn't the most stable and could fall over... when lifting the front, i ALWAYS put the emergency brake on, and a piece of 2 X 4 to lock the read wheel... whatever you do, do it safely.... :thumbup:
 
Just bought one at Sears its a Craftsman looks like the one Harbor Freight for the same price on line other than mines Red. Great jack for the money
 
I just picked up this exact jack at Harbor Frieght for $79.
Oil change this weekend and I will report how well it worked.

The HF jacks work good. With the yellow ones just don't be shy about stomping on the pedal fully to lower it slow and smooth.

Is there any benefit to the aluminum jacks that run $175 at HF and Sears? Other than lighter weight and the opportunity to spend more money?

Now that the Missus has realized the weight of the new bike, and the rated capacity of my current lift, (only 1,000 lbs...); I think that I'll run this by her again...
