Hey guys, when I turn on my RT and am waiting for the safety card screen to come on the dash icons come on and then all will turn off except brake light and oil lamp- all off when ignition is (finally) able to be turned on. Have had no trouble with oil, and not due to be changed for another 1000 miles per the maintenance schedule. Probably is nothing to be concerned about but thought I'd find out from the forum to be sure! Thanks!

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Whats Not normal is when you do start the engine and it stays on.

The oil light is for oil pressure the same as you car or truck. Since there is no oil pressure when the engine is not running the light is on. This is normal.

If the light bothers you too much, you could just put some tape over it.
