• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's the 4th again in Amearica - The 238th - Let's remember why...

We have had 238 4th of July's. It has taken a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get us from there to here. That is what today is all about.

Enjoy what they paid for... remember what they did....

All gave some

For those that were not around back then.

This ballad filled recruiting offices from coast to coast. It, on it's on, turned more boys into men, than ANY song of the era.

Many here (tho they may not say so) know that's a fact.

I can onlyadd to the Freedom is not Free. Men and woman are dying to allow others to have that Freedom. I have alway kind of thoght the Purple Hear medl should be red, because that is how it is earned, not given'
Thank you to all that have and are serving, as well to those who stay behind and wait. There have been many like the song "One way ticket over here".
God bless America

YOU ?

There are a lot of good patriotic songs out there. And I am not promoting one branch over the others as we desperately need them all. But I thought that this one song summed it up very well.

I am enjoying time with family and friends today because so many, over the years, have sacrificed their family and friends to secure freedom for us all. ★You may not agree with the reason for the conflict or the way it was handled. But ★you can't fault the men and women who laid their life on the line for ★you. The least we can do is appreciate them for it.

When we lose sight of this fact, we will lose the freedom they sacrificed so much to preserve.

Not sure if the use of 'you' was directed at me, or, not. But just so 'you' know where I'm coming from. My family has served in every conflict dating back to WWI (WWII, Korea, Berlin, Viet Nam, and the latest in Iraq. Of them, four of us were unfortunate enough to be casualties of combat(including myself). Hope you enjoyed the BBQ.

Presumptions

Sorry, that was a generic 'You', not a reference to you personally. Should have made that clear. I would never presume upon a person in that regard unless they made it clear that they were opposed to our men an women in uniform.

I'll give you this. Your choice of words missed the mark. By a long shot. nojoke
