• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yep rain and lots of rain looked out the window rain looked on the radar rain so that means I suit up and gear up and go for it. This is not bad for the first time on my six-week journey I have what I call rain.. had a few showers before but not rain. No problemo Ms. Spyder drives well in the rain I have never melted in the rain so I'm going to enjoy the ryde in the rain. North Dakota and Montana here I come...
everyone have a great day and celebrate Memorial Day again again and again

Rainy season

Murphy, sorry you passed through Minnesota during the rains. It really only rained twice this past week. Once Sunday through Wednesday and then again Thursday to Saturday. Have a safe and dry next few days.

Holy Crap it's a storm

Made it to Minot, ND..stopped for radar read, fuel in, waste out, decision time...totally wild weather this far..not looking any better west on 2..but according to radar dropping south on 83 then west on I94 should get me below this wild & woolly weather...if not then motel here I come...:yikes: Wow was just getting directions...look out Starbuck's window and there is sign for hiway 83...wow a good job God moment!!!
Everyone have a great day...

I'm hoping that your radar report was right and you got out of the rain. It would be a shame to go through Montana and not have sunshine.

So grateful for smartphone with Radar Pro weather app

I tried to attach a pic of super heavy rain on windshield plus same on helmet..didnt work so here is text only...
Ok just dbl that image and that is what I was trying to see thru driving..not working very well.. Then add thunder/lightening/fog and if that isn't enough severe winds..so after almost 2 hrs of this I said enuf..found Starbucks in Minot ND..so grateful for a smartphone with the radar pro app..what it showed me was if I kept going on hiway 2 west there was a really ugly weather pattern..heck what I had just rode thru was light in comparison..saw that if I switched to 83 south I would be out of storm in about 30 miles..look out SB window and the sign said 83...wahoo I'm on it..even found a great national park: Theodore Roosevelt Natl Park..spending nite in Glendive MT
