• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It has ARRIVED!!!

T’was the night before the 13[SUP]th [/SUP] And all thru the south
The wind was cold and whippin’ Teeth chattering in my mouth
Comes a ring on the phone and a knock at the door
A delivery driver is there with motorcylces galore!
A few Harleys, and an RT they were all strapped down
that trailer was loaded it had lights all around
And way back in the corner what’s that do I see?
Another three wheeled bike Is that my F3?
It is! It is! What a wonderful sight. Forget the cold! It’s a great night!:yes:

A big THANK YOU to iMotorSports in Elmhurst, IL. Kenny / Haider / Cherl - It was very nice to have dealt with each of you!!

Nice bit of versification there, very clever indeed especially at such short notice and with heightened adrenalin levels! Brilliant!

OJ, just wondering, what's the weather like at your location this time of year? As you have read, much of the USA is shivering in minus 'F' temps, and lots of snow.

I didn't go to IL. It was all done over the phone and web. Bought my 2011 RT the same way from GA. Just got a great deal from a great dealer and made the purchase. Delivery was free, so it was a no-brainer. 2nd Spyder bought sight unseen, or even test driven. Still have a smile on my face!!:2thumbs: F3-S turned out to be all I expected and more.

Being an island in the North Atlantic our weather is determined by the ocean Gulf Stream and the prevailing winds which are generally south-westerly.
So the UK doesn't experience the extremes of temperature of a huge land mass such as the US/Canada.
I've been living in the same flat (apartment) for almost 40 years and the coldest it's been is around 15*F so not so cold. (Bloody freezing by English standards!)
At the moment it's warm at 51*F, cloudy and damp. We had a couple of days of rain showers and I would be out on my Spyder today
if I had one!
Back in January 2005 I was in Long Island and I soon understood what cold really was (overnight low of 8*F) ...the need for a muffler and unbreathable air!:yikes:
JFK was closed and a State of Emergency declared. The speed at which the roads were cleared and back in use was amazing!

My mother spent some of her childhood in Winnipeg and she used to tell just how cold it was and how much overnight snow they could get.
This was back in the 1930s and I don't think they had snowblowers back then! The wolves could be seen sneaking into town....bears too!

NO Spyder?! I thought you did have one.

I did have an RS-S but in September I decided that while I am of sound mind and reasonably sound body (!) that I would buy a new F3.
So in order to get in on the ground floor I used my RS-S as a deposit on an F3S and should have it in April.
So at the moment I have an empty garage!
