• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a 'Swingarm Position Sensor. on the RS model?

Finless Bob in his video on the removal of the rear tire from the 'RT model' stresses that one of the most important things one must do prior to removing the drive belt from the rear drive is to "disconnect the swingarm position sensor", and reconnect the sensor after placing the drive belt back onto the rear pulley. Now note that their is no 'swingarm position sensor' illustrated or mentioned, nor shown anywhere in the 'RS' shop manual. Question: Is there a 'swingarm position sensor' on the RS model, and if there is where is the sensor located on the RS model? Thanks

No..!!

there is an arm on the RT that hooks to the swingarm on models with air adjustable rear shocks that he is referring to. GS/RS/RSS do not have these. You will see the tab it would connect to but unless fitted with the air compressor and air shock it will not be present...
