I have to be honest you were missed---but then events unfolded that could not be stopped. I have seen pictures that may be offensive to you , as they were to me, for that I truly apologize.
There were some who took advantage of your good intentions to be here and made lite of your circumstances that kept you away. I know you will be here next year as will many who came this year. I just wish some things never happened. Many have volunteered to help and we have accepted their offers. I have one activity left for next year.
SPYDER POKER I hope you will offer your help. On Saturday night we wanted to have a mixer to get acquainted. Virginia came up with the idea of passing out playing cards to everyone then ask them to find four other players to make the best poker hand. I know how the Irish love their card games and its a perfect fit for you. Len will then take the winners to the country club for a great Sunday buffet breakfast.

No need to apologize...it is all in the spirit of fun. Except for the eejit trying to cop a feel off me. I think he needs to wear a helmet all the time...he clearly injured his head somehow.

I'd be happy to help out. After all, how difficult could it be? I'm on the Event Committee for our Motorcycle Club's Annual Poker Run so I'm familiar with the rules.

But, are you sure people will play knowing they have to go to breakfast with you?

I would like to apologize for my behavior during the poker game. I should have just kept quiet. I let the situation get the best of me and I am truly embarrassed. So sorry, I was part of ruining your game.

In my eyes Deb you did nothing wrong here... You (like my wife) have a strong personally and you stuck to your guns and you where correct, nothing wrong with that.. I was in the room also when this all developed..

OH NO DEB------As the new SpyderPoker czar just said.

He has graciously accepted the poker game.
He dose not need to re visit our last game.
I just love a surprise---so let the Irishman be surprised.

As you know there are several games of poker.
Draw--5 card-- Doctor Pepper (10-2 and 4's wild) jokers wild and one where you take off an articles of clothing. She may have been confused and played the wrong game.

Just my opinion (as one of those on the team with the REAL winning hand), but no one needs to apologize. I thought the whole thing was hilarious! What would we have to talk about if people weren't passionate about the whole Spyder experience? I look forward to next year's game - but maybe we should be sure to clarify just WHICH game of poker we are playing before it starts based on Gene's options. (My Mom always warned me to wear my best underwear EVERY day - she may just have been right! pps

Spydergene is not doing you any favors---no one in their right mind would offer to do the spyder poker mixer. He is scamming you into doing it so that he doesn't catch and flak and you do.
