• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does the new Ipod Shuffle work on the 14 RTS. I know there is a 9 pin connector. Im not sure what all I need to get it to work?

Connector

I don't think the iPod shuffle will work as the connector that comes with the Spyder is a flat pin type connector Ipod cable.jpeg
Where as the iPod shuffle has a Jack pin connector.
I contacted Can Am to ask if they did a cable for my iPod Touch with the newish lightening connector, they advised me to purchase a lightening to 30 pin adaptor.

This adaptor may do the job, it's a 3.5mm jack to 30 pin adaptor, you can find them on ebay for around $15

It can be made to work but you wont have the ability to control song selection or play lists from the consol.

100% honest here, find a 4th gen iPod with maybe a cracked screen or something and dedicate it to be as a built in CD player. You get the benefit of being able to control it from your left handle bar controls and see what's going on with the console on the dash.

You can pick up used 3rd gen iPods for CHEAP on Ebay etc.
