• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ipod and AUX cable

Just brought my '19 F3 LTD home today! Traded in my '16 RT-S. WOW! What a difference! Anyway, I'm trying to play my Ipod through the USB plug in the glove box. NOTHING! I just read that if I plug the RCA jack that's in the glove box into the headphone jack on my Ipod it should work. I thought I'd ask here first before I tried it.....

Any thoughts??

Thanks

Not designed to operate a ipod directly any more. You can plug in the aux cable. But you cannot control it by the handlebar controls.

If you have a smart phone. Use that instead through BT.

Is there only 1 Aux cable on the bike? I took my XM radio off my RT hoping to put it in the LTD. I thought there was a cable under a panel on the left side somewhere......

Only one aux and it is located in the glove box aka pizza oven. The other input you are thinking about is the gps audio. It's gone for 2018 and 2019.

Ok, after doing a little research this is the hook-up:

Connect XM unit to USB plug (lamonster for power plate and Amazon for cord) for power
Connect XM unit to AUX cable in glovebox (using a female to female adapter)
Connect XM antenna to unit

Should work, yes?? (Have to fix signature)
