• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

iPhone App / MPG Calculator

For all you iPhone addicts out there...

There's a great little .99 cent app called GasHog that is the bomb for calculating your MPG in a snap.

Simply record your current mileage from the odometer, and then from the gas pump record your fuel added and total cost. GasHog does all the calculating between fill ups automatically. And you'll soon have a Log alerting you to any trends, along with a Stats page showing your Fuel Economy History for your Last Tank, Last 30 Days, Last 6 Months, and Overall - as well as Cost per Mile over the same periods.

Pretty cool!

Looks VERY interesting, Lamonster! I'm going to try out the freebie one for sure, but the Feedbacks say that the $4.99 version (with a couple more bells & whistles) is worth every penny, too!

Great post.

Got it. I'll check it out over the next few fill-ups.
