• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm assuming I need the 30 pin to 9 pin connector? I have a bulky iPhone case, so I would need the $39 one with longer cable? And sticky tape to mount the phone in back?

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish ? If you are mounting phone in trunk , use a cheap case , put Velcro on back, put a Velcro strip in upper middle back of trunk. As far as cable , use existing cable for iPod connection, use the iPhone adapter to a smaller plug . I am assuming you have the factory audio system . This will give you control of music from phone, plus keeping it charged.
Good luck

You need to 30 pin to lightning adaptor. I use the long one as it seems to be more forgiving when it comes to bumps and have had no trouble with using it on my 12 or now the 14.

IPhone 5 trunk mount

View attachment 83675I used the 30 pin to lightning adapter (9 pin?). I also took my Otterbox belt clip, removed the "clip" part, mounted it with two screws on the swivel portion of the holder. First picture below is the holder in the normal position. Second one shows how it mounts to the trunk with two screws. Good luck!
