• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was bored today sitting around thinking/dreaming about my future Spyder. Went to Books A Million to look at magazines and came across Road Runner Motorcycle and Travel. Had a great article about a road trip following the Lewis and Clark Trail on Spyders. I clipped a few sections, little long I know but interesting. I might have to start reading this magazine!

"Some further observations on the Can-Am. My guess is that Can-Am thought through the things that draw people to riding and the things that put them off, and struck a new balance. I remember my own middle age decision to take up motorcycling and how I dreamt of traveling astride a machine, out in the elements with the wind in my face – a magic carpet ride. Yet, I was anxious about the demands of riding; controls, weight, lane positioning, visibility, braking, and all the rest that motorcycling demands. It was only after I began to ride, after the formal instruction, the practice, the countless articles and books on riding techniques, observing skilled riders, and just riding, that my own proficiency developed, and with it, a second dimension of riding pleasure – mastering the machine and the ride. A silky smooth gear change, a perfect line through a corner, a stop where the downshift, braking and foot stab are flawless. These are part of it – for so many of us. But not all, and here is where Can-Am has done something that will expand the number of people who will get a chance to ride the magic carpet. You step up onto a stable platform, you sit down in comfortable touring bike fashion, the transmission is a paddle shifted automatic that returns to first gear when your stop, you have one foot brake for all wheels, you steer it like an ATV – no counter-steering – you position it on the road and corners like a car, you park like a car, you can load a household of possessions on it (I admit to loving the roller-board luggage in the front trunk). In short, this is a ride that puts you outdoors, seeing the world as a motorcyclist does, but doing so with many of the demands of two wheeling removed. Interesting Article experience

While riding the Tail of the Dragon last summer, more fellow 2 wheel riders were looking and discussing the RT Ltd. with us than any other bike at the rest stops. Great attention getter and certainly a tool to start conversations. What is even better is when you lead 70+ Spyders on an organized ryde that stretches for miles on the highway :yikes::clap::ohyea::thumbup: and then into national landmarks for visits. Am amazing ride rush for sure. Enjoy

:agree: When I talk to people @ Work, they ask me questions about my :spyder2: I give tell them that it drives like a snowmobile, and you can not tip the :spyder2: over, it is very comfortable on long distance rides, and it has enough power to pass other people if you need to, if you are looking to buy a :spyder2: rent 1 first or If you know someone that has 1 try the :spyder2: out first, before you go buy.
