• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Instrument cluster question.

When I turn the key to the ON position and the cluster does its "bootup" thing. Most times all the entire LCD lights up as sort of test. Sometimes the LCD part just stays blank and doesn't come on untill the end of the "bootup" thing.
After "bootup" the bike starts as per usual.
Has anyone else had this happen, or is it the sign of a problem.:dontknow:

My question would be do you see a difference after you have been off the spyder or when you turn it right back on. The reason I ask, is many times, if it is within 5 minutes or less, your spyder won't go through everything all over again.

Thanks fir the reply dltang,

Good question, I have noticed that it seems to happen on warm starts. But havn't really payed attention to the time after the last start. I will keep an eye on this and see if it is related to a "time after the last start"
sort of thing.
